What kind of materials do you use?
I use superior Artists’ quality Acrylic paints. I usually paint on two different types of surfaces. The first one is store bought canvas panel, on which I paint after couple of layers of gesso. The other surface that I paint on is prepared by me, by applying 3-4 layers of Acrylic gesso on MDF panels. The surfaces are environment friendly.
Will the painting be varnished?
Yes, I prefer to varnish paintings before shipping them. I will be varnishing them with a UV resistant gloss varnish. If you prefer me not to varnish it, please let me know and that is fine. But they will be varnished by default.
Are the colors in the image exactly the same as in real?
I try my best to take pictures that accurately depict the original colors of the painting. In some cases, they might be slight variations in color, in which case I will mention it. Otherwise they are as accurate and similar to the original as possible.
Will the painting be framed?
No. I think framing is a very personal choice and it would be great to leave the collectors choose their frames. I will not be framing the pieces.
What size will a painting typically be?
I will be working on a small sized canvas, typically 5 * 7 inches. There might be some paintings sized 4*6 inches or 6 *6 inches too.
What subjects will you be painting?
I will be painting a good mix of still life and landscapes to begin with, and may venture out into some florals later on. I will not be doing portraits as the size is going to be small. I do not expect to do many figurative paintings either, as I prefer doing them on larger canvasses. If you have seen my flowering tree series recently, it would give you a fair idea of what to expect.
Are the paintings available for sale?
Yes, they are. I will be putting up a new painting almost every day with a link to purchase it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, absolutely! I ship all over the world. Shipping from Germany takes about 7 working days to reach countries outside Europe, and 5 working days within Europe.
What is the shipping and payment policy?
Shipping will be done only after receiving full payment. I will ship an item within 3 working days of receiving full payment, and notify you about the same.
What about refunds?
If for any reason you are not happy with the painting, you can ship it back to me properly packaged within 7 days of receiving it. I will refund the entire amount upon receipt of the painting. I create every new painting with the hope that it brings you the same joy that it did to me while painting, and I hope this situation doesn’t arise.
Can the images be reproduced?
No. Even after selling the original painting, I hold copyrights to the images. The images may not be reproduced in any format.
